Last night I had the privilege of attending the holiday party for the local Riders Association of Triumph owners called WindyCityRATs. We were hosted at the location of oldest Triumph dealer in the Chicago area called Motor Cycle Center, located in Villa Park, IL, by owner Geoff Mellinger. MCC provided munchies, pizza and drinks to the 15+ attendees. Also there from the MCC staff were Les White (Parts) and JB (Sales).

MCC moved to this new location a couple years ago that is a very nice facility. The showroom area is large and has a great vibe. Geoff wheeled out a new Triumph Thruxton special edition Ace model for us to peruse.

This is a good looking Thruxton!

Also on a platform in the center aisle was a couple year old Norton Commando 961 SF. It was the first of the modern Norton’s to be sold in the US. It is owned by an MCC customer who stores it at MCC for the winter. MCC is one of only 9 Norton dealers in the US.
