I am really happy to announce the soft launch of a new website for my friends at Bonneville Performance.

If you follow this blog, you will know the story of how I became a Bonneville Performance customer, which lead to a growing Internet-based friendship with owner Bill Gately, and his subsequent invitation for me to join him and the Triumph Factory-sponsored AMA Pro Flat Track race team at a number of race events in 2013.

In this process, I set up the official Bonneville Performance Facebook Page and offered to help Bill’s business by designing and building him a new website, which I’ve been working on for the last 6 months or so. It is based upon WordPress, using a WooTheme called Canvas, and the WooCommerce shopping cart platform.

Bill also put me in touch with the marketing team at Triumph Motorcycles North America in Atlanta — Dennis Rhee (Chief of Staff), Matt O’Conner (Public Relations) and Keith May (Design & Photography) — who provided a lot of great professional photo and video resources to work with.

At the initial site soft launch today, the site uses Bill’s pre-existing PayPal only payment method. However, our plans are to soon integrate a payment gateway through PayPal or Stripe, to handle credit card payments as well.

Check it out and let me know what you think.
