ChiVinMoto is the name of a Google Group that stands for Chicago Vintage Motorcycles. I was introduced to the group by Jorge last Sunday when we chatted at the Motoworks Chicago Spring Open House.

Following that conversation, I found and joined the group. I discovered that in addition to discussing and sharing about all things vintage moto within the online group, ChiVinMoto members also host “Garage Nights” throughout the year.

Last night James Tucker hosted one at his garage in River Grove, IL, which I was privileged to attend (for the first time) along with Brian, Ken, Jorge, Peter and Duane. He treated us to some dogs, brats and beverages in his well-equipped “man cave” garage! We got to see some of Tucker’s nice work restoring and modifying some vintage Honda’s, and looked at some bikes in process.

Thanks, Tucker!

Tucker definitely win’s the “Ugliest Gas Tank We’ve Ever Seen Award!”
