One of the things on my “bucket list” is to ride my 2008 Triumph Bonneville to the Bonneville Salt Flats for the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials. I “googled” the location and discovered I could get there in less than 24 hours! Google estimates 22 hrs. and 18 min. via I-80. Realistically, that would take me 2-3 days.

I would love to see Jason DiSalvo pilot the Castrol-Triumph Rocket III as it makes its land speed record bid!

From the Bureau of Land Management website:
- The public can gain access to speed week events by paying an entrance fee and following route markers to designated viewing areas. Reservations for spectators are not required. Bicycles and ATV are permitted on the Salt Flats.
