I received an exciting email from a Triumph Bonneville blog follower named Gary today. In it he attached a link to a video he made this past weekend with his new GoPro Hero3+ Black. I told him in my reply email that I had hoped to get one for Christmas… but it didn’t happen!

The video features Gary riding his 2008 Bonnie Black on Del Valle road which leads to Del Valle Reservoir in northern California near Livermore. Gary tells me they’ve been enjoying sunny warm weather out there this winter which is great for motorcycle riding, but is not helping their drought situation!

Gary has done some sweet mods to his 2008 Bonnie Black (the perfect year for a Bonnie in my opinion) including:

  • De-snorkled intake, K&N filter
  • Carbs re-jetted
  • TPUSA Dominator Touring exhausts
  • AI deactivated
  • Thruxton seat and cowl
  • Triumph OEM fly screen
  • Hagon shocks
  • Napoleon bar end mirrors
  • BC small turn indicators with custom rear bracket
  • BC FEK (fender elimination kit) w/Lucas taillight

Gary was kind enough to let me post his video, which I think is pretty good for his first try on the new GoPro, don’t you agree?

Thanks for sharing with us Gary!
